A LITTLE ABOUT ME

​

I grew up in the south suburbs of Chicago. The first time I really paid attention to the idea of creative work as a career was watching Boomerang. Seeing people who looked like me shaping ideas, building careers, and moving through creative spaces with confidence stuck with me more than I realized at the time.

​

That moment turned into a 15 year career across creative agencies, media, and publishing. I started out in production, learned how ideas actually get made, and eventually moved into branded content, partnerships, and experiences. Along the way, I have worked at places like Leo Burnett, Spark Foundry, and FCB Chicago, partnering with brands that wanted to show up in culture in ways that felt real and scalable.

Most recently, I led branded content and strategic partnerships at Hero Collective and Hero Media. I helped build and grow culture-first platforms, led large sponsorship ecosystems, and played a key role in shaping partnerships for Blackweek, a global economic forum focused on the economic power of diverse consumers. The work spanned strategy, sales, creative activation, talent, and long-term brand relationships, often all at once.

 

What ties it all together is this: I like building things that bring people together. I am drawn to work that feels honest, emotionally grounded, and culturally aware. I believe trust comes before attention, and that culture is not something you layer on. It is the work.

 

These days, home base is just outside Chicago with my husband TJ and our two kiddos. When I'm not working, I'm usually traveling, catching yet another Law & Order rerun, or spending time at church, where I also serve as Media Director.

She Runs It is an organization designed to encourage and promote womens' role in the advertising industry. Joined other female leaders at the "Breathe" panel; a thoughtful discussion about balance, stress, flexibility and the power of the exhale.
